HearNPV-IIPR05 isolate is an alphabaculovirus belonging to baculoviridae family. It is a lethal pathogens of lepidopteran caterpillars including Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) infesting economically important agriculture crops worldwide. The goal of this project is to decipher the genome content of the indigenous isolate identified at ICAR-IIPR for biological control of H. armigera.
