Nucleus pulposus stem cells is the endogenous stem cell in nucleus pulposus tissues(NPMSCs). The senescene of NPMSCs will cause its malfunction and further induce intervertebral disc degeneration.The expression of specific sets of genes will altered during aging. Thus, identify these key regulater genes is important. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying NPMSCs aging and identified distinct classes of up and down-regulated genes during this process First, we isolated and identified NPMSCs form the tail discs of Young (3months) and old (24months) SD rats.mRNAs were extrated by Trizol method.Then, a rat GeneChip Clariom™ S Array was used to detect different expression mRNA between the young and old samples. Additionally, molecular function and pathway analysis were also performed.
