S. aureus biofilm transcriptome following G-MDSC or Macrophage co-culture

To investigate biofilm-leukocyte crosstalk, we performed RNA-seq to evaluate how the S. aureus biofilm transcriptome was altered following exposure to G-MDSCs or macrophages in vitro. Interestingly, each immune cell type elicited a distinct transcriptional response. RNA-sequencing was performed on biofilm co-cultured with G-MDSCs (3 replicates), macrophages (3 replicates), or G-MDSCs + macrophages (2 replicates). Biofilm only was also used as a control (2 replicates).
