The present invention relates to a new method for sampling seed tissue of determined size， in particular corn and sunflower， with or without conservation of the germination character of the seeds. The invention relates more particularly to a method for sampling seed tissue when the quantity of the tissue sample must be checked， for example in the context of genotyping or any method for analyzing a constituent of the seed.
