资源简介:
These data contribute to the long-term monitoring effort of the NOAA’s Integrated Ecosystem Assessment (IEA) program and the National Science Foundation Distributed Biological Observatory program. The data were obtained within the DBO1 region at the mooring site M8 maintained since 2004 by NOAA. Specifically, these results were obtained from the deployment of a moored sequential sediment trap near the M8 mooring in the northern Bering Sea from October 2020 to August 2021 and from November 2021 to August 2022. The sediment trap was deployed ~10 m above seafloor (deployment depth: 64 m; water depth: 73 m) and was programmed to rotate at intervals ranging from one week during spring and summer to one month during winter. Each sample (total 48 samples) was analyzed to measure fluxes of chlorophyll a, algae, biomarkers, total particulate matter, and particulate organic carbon, along with the abundance of zooplankton and meroplankton at the sediment trap depth. The dataset consists of a Microsoft excel sheet.
