Data related to In Silico Clinical Trial to Predict the Efficacy of Hip Protectors for Preventing Hip Fractures

This dataset contains the characteristics of a virtual cohort of proximal femurs generated with a statistical anatomy atlas. This cohort was used to simulate an In Silico trial to predict the effectiveness of hip protectors for preventing hip fractures, and its dependence on compliance (usage rate). Three different hip protectors were simulated (with attenuation coefficients of 12.9%, 19% and 33.8%). Results in terms of fracture incidence are reported for each cohort.
