This series consists of minutes of meetings from the 1939-1940 Electoral Districts Commission. The minutes provide an account of decisions made by the Commission regarding the planning, mapping and description of electoral districts in New South Wales. The minutes also provide an account of any objections raised to the boundaries being proposed by the Commission and a summary of correspondence regarding electoral boundaries.The minutes have been typed and feature handwritten annotations. Accompanying the minutes is a copy of the New South Wales Government Gazette describing the electoral districts as proclaimed in the 1940 redistribution.The 1939-40 Commission consisted of H. V. Gould (Chairman), S.R. Carver and A. Max Allen.
