Transcriptomics characterizing the antioxidant mechanisms of semaglutide in diabetes mice with cognitive impairment

This study aims to investigate the neuroprotective effects of semaglutide in Diabetes associated cognitive decline, while also exploring the underlying mechanisms targeting antioxidative effects. The antioxidant properties of semaglutide in a Diabetes associated cognitive decline model were evaluated. To investigate the underlying mechanisms, we employed RNA sequencing analysis. Transcriptomic analyses of the cells were conducted to identify the pathways responsible for the observed antioxidant effects. Our data provide molecular evidence to elucidate the physiological connections between semaglutide and neuronal function, and contribute to clarifying semaglutides role in combating oxidative stress and high glucose induced cognitive impairment.
