Lake water methane oxidation rates and MOB counts

Raw data presented in the manuscript "Niche separation within aerobic methanotrophic bacteria across lakes and its link to methane oxidation rates" by Reis, Thottathil, Ruiz-Gonzalez and Prairie 2020. The data frame contains lake water incubation data for the determination of aerobic bacterial methane oxidation rates and methane-oxidizing bacteria (MOB) abundance by CARD-FISH. The data was collected in six temperate lakes in the Laurentian region of Quebec, Canada, in 2016. Column names contain the unit of each variable.
