The Fusarium nisikadoi species complex is a multispecies lineage of the fungal genus Fusarium that has been defined by DNA sequence-based phylogenetic analysis. This complex currently includes only four species (F. commune, F. gaditjirrii, F. miscanthi and F. nisikadoi), but is closely related to the species-rich F. fujikuroi species complex. Members of this complex have been isolated from grasses from multiple regions of the world, including Asia, Australia, North America. In addition, members of the F. nisikadoi species complex are not generally associated with mycotoxin contamination of food and feed crops.
