This study aims to investigate the effects of different levels of bile acids in the diet on the cecal microbiota of Dan-zhao chickens using 16S rRNA sequencing technology. Primary bile acids are modified by the intestinal microbiota to form secondary bile acids. Dysbiosis of the gut microbiota can alter the composition of the bile acid pool, activate the immune system, and induce inflammatory responses. Therefore, the interaction between bile acids and the gut microbiota may play a crucial role in regulating lipid metabolism and immune performance in poultry.
