MM-Claims

The MM-Claims dataset was created by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It contains over 3,000 manually annotated social media tweets and their associated images, covering three topics: COVID-19, climate change, and technology. The dataset aims to identify and verify factual claims on social media through multimodal analysis. During its development, the research team adopted specific filtering and annotation strategies to ensure the quality and relevance of the data.
