Parishes

Dating back to 1837, Victorian land subdivision was under a Parish based land registration system. Parishes originate from the division of Counties and are approximately 5 square miles (13 square kilometres) in size. There are 2003 parishes within the State of Victoria and 25 in the City of Greater Geelong.Although all due care has been taken to ensure that these data are correct, no warranty is expressed or implied by the City of Greater Geelong in their use.
