Preparation level for evacuation in disaster situations among families Japan 2021

According to a survey conducted on natural disaster prevention among mothers in Japan in February 2021, amounting to 38.2 percent, the majority of respondents stated that they were not prepared at all for an evacuation in disaster situations. Only 6.4 percent of respondents answered that they were well prepared. Since Japan is situated along the Ring of Fire, an area where several tectonic plates meet, it is vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes.
