Monitoring the quality of civic education in higher education in the context of the formation of human capital for post-war recovery in conditions of hybrid threats

The survey of university students in Ukraine was carried out using a targeted sample, with only students of specific majors selected: The study lasted from November to December 2024, during which 564 students from all regions of Ukraine were surveyed. The sampling type was defined as a combination of directed and spontaneous selection elements. The directed selection was carried out due to the need to represent in the sample only students of specific specialties, namely: 281 Public management and administration 73 Management 081 Law and 293 International Law 291 International relations. The link to the online questionnaire for the survey was sent via the electronic document management system in a letter from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The letter specified that the link should be distributed exclusively among students of the indicated specialties. However, since participation in the study is exclusively voluntary, responses were received only from those respondents who had the desire and opportunity to fill out the questionnaires, corresponding to spontaneous selection. It is also worth noting that this could have affected the survey results since it can be hypothesized that the study was mostly attended by more active students, in whom civic competencies are better formed.
