Data sources: England & Wales - Office for National Statistics (ONS) Scotland - National Records of Scotland (NRS) Northern Ireland - Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) Coverage: United Kingdom The boundaries used have been generalised using a point remove algorithm for web display using the following thresholds: Euro Regions - 250 metres Local Authorities - 150 metres Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) - 100 metres Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) - 75 metres Output Area (OA) - 50 metres The boundaries have been set to display at the following scale thresholds: Euro Regions - > 1:4,000,000 Local Authorities - 1:300,000 – 1:4,000,000 Middle Super Output Area (MSOA) - 1:100,000 – 1:300,000 Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) - 1:40,000 – 1:100,000 Output Area (OA) - < 1:40,000 The currency of this data is 2011.本数据集的数据来源如下：英格兰及威尔士地区数据取自英国国家统计局（Office for National Statistics, ONS），苏格兰地区数据取自苏格兰国家记录局（National Records of Scotland, NRS），北爱尔兰地区数据取自北爱尔兰统计与研究局（Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency, NISRA）。数据集覆盖英国全境。所用地理边界已通过点移除算法完成概化处理，各层级概化阈值分别为：欧洲区域（Euro Regions）250米、地方当局辖区（Local Authorities）150米、中等超级输出区（Middle Super Output Area, MSOA）100米、下级超级输出区（Lower Super Output Area, LSOA）75米、输出区（Output Area, OA）50米。地理边界的显示比例尺阈值设置如下：欧洲区域>1:4,000,000，地方当局辖区对应比例尺范围为1:300,000至1:4,000,000，中等超级输出区对应比例尺范围为1:100,000至1:300,000，下级超级输出区对应比例尺范围为1:40,000至1:100,000，输出区对应比例尺范围<1:40,000。本数据集的时效性为2011年。
