Ionization potential depression and mechanical-electric coupling in plasma

This dataset contains the raw experimental data supporting the findings of the manuscript "Ionization potential depression and mechanical-electric coupling in plasma" (POP26-AR-00755). It includes time-resolved laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) spectra and time-dependent plasma temperatures measured during laser irradiation of niobium (Nb) and zirconium (Zr) targets in nitrogen gas at 1 atm. Two laser illumination energy densities, 10.4 J/cm² and 20 J/cm², were employed. The LIBS data are provided in ".asc" format, and the temperature data in ".txt" format. The raw LIBS spectra include instrumental drifts, which have been corrected in the associated paper. The temperature data correspond to the optically thin plasma stages (Stages II and III as defined in the manuscript). All datasets are organized by target material and laser energy density for ease of reference.
