资源简介:
Count and detection data by season for 10 vertebrate species in a temperate ecosystem of South Carolina, USA. Count data were used in N-mixture analyses following the parameterization of Royle (2004), with the relative importance of various sampling occasion and site-specific characteristics examined in an AIC model selection framework. Detection data were used to examine diel activity overlap between wild pigs and other species following the kernel density method developed by Ridout and Linkie (2009). We collected the species data with wildlife cameras in the year 2020 using a grid sampling design. Our winter, spring, summer, and fall survey periods were the first two weeks in February, May, August, and November, respectively. More detailed information may be found in Saldo et al. 2023 (in press).
