Yersinia enterocolitica Genome sequencing and assembly. Yersinia enterocolitica

The current Y. entercolitica strains were isolated from rodents in different territories across Georgia in 2018. High occurrence of this bacterium was detected in rodents widely inhabited various natural habitats. Characterization of the novel strains cultured from rodents can provide a clue for determining pathogenic properties specific for those strains and can help to evaluate risk of the strains of Y. enterocolitica carried by wild rodents for public health.
