This anonymized dataset supports the study, Emergent design thinking behaviours in GenAI-supported student-led multimedia learning: A structural model of creative self-efficacy and learning satisfaction. The dataset contains survey responses from 333 university students and includes measures related to generative AI use, design thinking stages (empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test), creative self-efficacy, and learning satisfaction. The data were prepared for partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) and anonymized to protect participant identity. It is intended for research transparency, validation, and possible secondary analysis related to educational technology, multimedia learning, and technology-supported creative processes in higher education.
