Quantifying the influence of soil forming factors on carbon stock in the High Fens region and predicting its spatial distribution

This Zenodo dataset contains the spatial and analytical data used in the master’s thesis “Quantifying the influence of soil forming factors on carbon stock in the High Fens region and predicting its spatial distribution”. The dataset includes field sampling locations, SOC stock estimations, hydrological and topographic layers, soil classification data, Sentinel-2 derived products, and a high-resolution Digital Elevation Model (DEM) of the High Fens plateau. These datasets were used to analyze the environmental controls influencing Soil Organic Carbon (SOC) distribution and to develop predictive spatial models combining field observations, GIS analysis, remote sensing, and machine-learning approaches.
