Opinion on surge pricing model for app taxis in regular booking cases India 2019

According to a survey conducted about taxi app usage across India in September 2019, a majority of the respondents, at 49 percent, stated that app taxis should not be permitted to apply surge pricing for regular bookings even if it leads to no taxis being available. App taxis have gained immense popularity across the south Asian country in recent years.
