NRS-19752 | Student Admission Cards

This series contains a collection of student admission cards for students of the Wagga Wagga Teacher's College for the years 1947 to 1950. Admission cards are bundled into year groups.Information contained on the front of the cards includes: Students' Surname and Christian names in full; date of admission; date of birth and age in years and months; University Degree, if any; home address; telephone number, if any; Father's occupation; Church connection; last school attended; date of sitting for Leaving Certificate Examination; results of Leaving Certificate Examination, including subjects in English, Latin, Greek, French, German, Mathematics, Mechanics, History, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Geology, Economics, Music, Art and Needlework; if student has Matriculated; University or similar courses, if any, already completed; signature of student and date.On the right hand side of the front of the card is a column for 'Office Use Only' in which is recorded: file No.; Section; Course; Exit; Pay No.; and Leaving Certificate Aggregate.On the back of the card there is space for recording any financial information relating to the student, including: Scholarship Allowance; College Dues Paid; Text Books - Agreement Completed and Book Clearances; and Refunds and Claims.
