Time Use Survey 2022, Interview File

The time use survey maps how much time people spend performing various activities, including income-generating work, housework, volunteer work, and leisure activities. It also provides information about people's daily rhythms and social patterns. The first survey was conducted in 1971, followed by surveys in 1980, 1990, 2000, 2010, and 2022. Several changes were made to the categorization in 1980, so comparisons between 1971 and later years can only be made at a rough level. The surveys were previously based on interviews and the keeping of diaries by a representative sample of the population. In 2022, the entire survey was conducted electronically, without any guiding interviews.
