Rhizosphere microbial community of Isatis indigotica under endophytic bacterium BC00 treatment

This study examined the effects of endophytic bacterium BC00 on the rhizosphere microbial community of Isatis indigotica, a traditional Chinese medicinal plant. Through field inoculation experiments, BC00 was identified as the most effective strain for promoting plant growth and bioactive compound accumulation (indigo, indirubin, epigoitrin). High-throughput sequencing of 16S rRNA and ITS genes was performed on rhizosphere soil samples from BC00-treated and control groups to analyze changes in bacterial and fungal community composition, diversity, and structure. The goal was to understand how BC00 modulates the rhizosphere microbiome to promote plant growth and secondary metabolite accumulation. This dataset includes raw sequencing data from rhizosphere soil samples of BC00 treatment and control, enabling further analysis of plant-microbe interactions in medicinal plant cultivation.
