This dataset provides the measured values of fluorescence polarization (FP) of green fluorescent protein (GFP). FP is monitored with and without the presence of single-stranded DNA aptamers, using a Tecan Spark multimode microplate reader (https://www.tecan.com/spark-overview) with fluorescence excitation and emission values set to 485nm and 525nm, respectively. The change in FP is calculated by subtracting the value of FP from an initial control value of GFP without any DNA added.
