资源简介:
Gut microbiota appears to contribute to many aspects of the host’s homeostasis, several diseases and dysfunctions have been associated with an imbalance in either the composition, numbers, or habitat of the gut microbiota. Heart Failure (HF) has been associated with changes in gut microbiota. An important question is whether any changes in the gut microbiome precede HF or are a consequence of it. In this context, we hypothesized that the HF elicited by myocardial infarction (MI) would promote gut dysbiosis. Faecal samples from Wistar rats were collected before and after surgical procedure (sham or HF-inducing surgery) and submitted to 16S Sequencing and analysis.
