Lee. * Corresponding author (email: steven.mcgregor@mandela.ac.za) This dataset contains plot-level estimates of organic carbon stocks for vegetation and soils across multiple habitat types within protected areas of AlUla County, Saudi Arabia. Carbon stocks are reported for herbaceous, shrub and tree biomass, total aboveground biomass carbon, soil organic carbon and total organic carbon. Values are expressed in metric tonnes of carbon per hectare (t C ha⁻¹) and represent filtered plot-level outputs. A metadata sheet within the file defines all variables, codes and units used in the dataset.
