Alternative polyadenylation (APA) of pre-mRNA as a post-transcriptional regulatory mechanism is crucial for rice growth and environmental adaptation. The knowledge of the contribution of APA and its coordination with transcriptional regulation to rice thermotolerance is lacking. Herein, we analyzed genome-wide APA responses to time-series heat stress (0h-HS, 15min-HS, 3h-HS and followed by 30 min recovery) in two rice cultivars.
