Analysis of the Number of Surgical Nurses Assigned to Facilities that Have Added an Acute-Phase Enrichment System in Japan: A Cross-Sectional Study

This dataset supports the cross-sectional study titled “Analysis of the Number of Surgical Nurses Assigned to Facilities that Have Added an Acute-Phase Enrichment System in Japan.” The data were collected in 2023 from 865 medical institutions across Japan, focusing on those that obtained either the Acute-Phase Enrichment Reimbursement or the Comprehensive Inpatient Care Reimbursement. The dataset includes information on the number of surgical nurses per operating room, total surgeries performed, facility size, and other organizational characteristics. These data were obtained via a web-based survey (Questant) and are anonymized. This dataset may be used for further analysis related to perioperative nurse staffing, health policy evaluation, and surgical workforce planning.
