RNA-seq of Galdieria sulphuraria grown on glucose, maltose and starch hydrolysate

We performed RNA-seq of the acidophilic red microalga Galdieria sulphuraria (strain SAG 108.79) cultivated under three carbon sources: glucose, maltose and a starch-derived hydrolysate. The aim is to characterise transcriptional responses that underpin carbohydrate utilisation and secretome/lipid metabolism relevant to biomanufacturing. Raw sequencing reads (FASTQ) and sample-level metadata are provided to enable cross-condition comparisons and integration with our associated proteomics dataset.
