The Oldest Old, Conditions of Life and Degree of Self Care, 1996

A large number of elderly live at home and going to continue to live at home. It is important to know how the elderly are doing, how they stay healthy and active, and how to support this.
The project objective was to investigate the living conditions among the elderly, with a particular aim to analyze sentral conditions of life of elderly living at home (over 75 years) and their capacity and function possibilities. The project is part of a joint Nordic study, where Finland and Sweden also participate. The Norwegian part has acquired data among the elderly in the City of Bergen.
