Establishment of recombinant inbred lines derived from Tak-1 and Tak-2. Marchantia polymorpha subsp. ruderalis

The liverwort Marchantia polymorpha displays phenotypic differences between male and female wild-type accessions, such as Tak-1, Tak-2, or Aus, during the early stages of gemmaling. However, it remains unclear whether these differences are caused by sexual dimorphism or autosomal genetic variation. To investigate the genomic factors, we established a set of male and female recombinant inbred lines from Tak-1 and Tak-2 and performed sequencing to detect autosomal SNPs and INDELs and validate recombinant inbred lines.
