In-situ geotechnical characterization of soft estuarine surficial sediments using a portable free fall penetrometer [Data]

Field geotechnical in-situ testing were conducted at sites in the York River Estuary, VA, Potomac River, MD and Yakutat Alaska. Samples were also retrieved using a gravity corer, box corer and by divers. This dataset encompasses the raw and processed data needed to reproduce the results in the associated publications.
