The 3-30-300 indicator, a tool for assessing geographical access and inequalities associated with green spaces: demonstration project for the island of Montreal, Canada

The shapefile contains spatial data used to calculate the 3-30-300 indicators at the dissemination area (DA) level. Each record in the dataset corresponds to a specific dissemination area, providing detailed information on the following urban greening indicators:

3 Visible Trees: The percentage of households within the dissemination area with a view of at least three trees from their home.
30% Tree Canopy Cover: The percentage of the dissemination area covered by tree canopy, representing the extent of urban tree coverage.
300m to Green Space: The proportion of households with access to a public green space within 300 meters walking distance.
The dataset also includes geographic boundaries for dissemination areas, facilitating spatial analyses and visualization of these indicators. It is designed to support urban planning, environmental assessments, and equity analyses related to green infrastructure and accessibility.
