This dataset contains the information presented in the paper "Computational Fluid Dynamics predictions of initial draught and trim changes on ship resistance in confined waters" The dataset includes total, frictional and pressure resistance values. The "Resistance_data.txt" file contains the numerical values obtained using the commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics solver, Star-CCM+, version 14.06.008. The attached figures were created using the data shown in the "Resistance_data.txt" file and correspond to figures 4-11 in the linked paper. The colormaps were created using MatPlotLib, produced by Cobeldick (2021). Results were obtained using the ARCHIE-WeSt High Performance Computer (www.archie-west.ac.uk) based at the University of Strathclyde. Cobeldick, S., 2021.
