S.C. Route 19/302/Road S-419 Intersection Improvements Project, Aiken County

"The only area of new right of way required for this project is a small sight triangle and a narrow sliver measuring approximately 10 feet at its widest point and tapering back to the existing 30-foot right of way over a distance of about 450 feet. This area of new right of way includes three driveways and a landscaped lawn and parking area for the South Aiken Baptist Church. This parking area is flat and is partially covered with grass. The project is located in a commercial area of the town of Aiken. There are no known archaeological, historical or archaeological sites in the project area. Therefore, I recommend that a survey is not needed for this project. Attached to this memorandum are location maps, the Project Planning Report with road plans, and digital photographs of the project area."
