Here, we report the construction of the first saturated linkage map at tetraploid level of E. curvula using traditional (AFLP and SSR) and high throughput molecular markers (GBS-SNPs) with the position of the apomeiosis controlling locus. This saturated map was used to analyze the presence of regulatory regions considering the trait as quantitative and to establish synteny relationships with genomes of other related species. The mapping population consisting in 62 individuals was obtained from the cross of two tetraploids, a full sexual genotype (OTA-S) with a facultative apomictic one (Don Walter).
