IMPLEMENTATION OF ENERGY-EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES IN WATER PUMPING SYSTEMS

Water pumping systems are essential components in industrial, agricultural, and municipal infrastructures, consuming a significant portion of global electrical energy. With the increasing demand for sustainable energy use, the implementation of energy-efficient technologies in pumping systems has become a critical area of research and development. This study explores modern approaches to improving the efficiency of water pumping systems, including the use of high-efficiency motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), system optimization techniques, and smart monitoring technologies. The paper also evaluates the economic and environmental benefits of these innovations. The findings indicate that adopting energy-efficient solutions can reduce energy consumption by up to 30–50%, thereby lowering operational costs and environmental impact.
