Natural Hazards Research Summit 2024: AI-Assisted Workflows for Automated Extraction of Building Inventory and Damage Information from NHERI RAPID Reconnaissance Data

This poster showcases the latest capabilities of SimCenter's BRAILS tool, which now allows automated processing of RAPID image datasets to obtain building attributes required for natural hazard studies or generate maps of damaged buildings from reconnaissance data using AI. These unique automated capabilities set BRAILS apart from traditional manual processing methods, making inventory generation and reconnaissance studies from RAPID imagery considerably easier. BRAILS and RAPID data is meant for use by anyone interested in natural hazards studies.
