Upland Heath Swamps Plot Network: Plot Details - Spatial Coordinates, Royal National Park, Sydney Basin, NSW, Australia

Abstract: This dataset contains spatial information for plots established in the Royal National Park. These permanent plots, arranged in eight 30 metre transects, were originally established in 1990. This spatial data complements data collected from soil moisture, soil properties and floristics surveys conducted at these sites.

Study extent: These sites were originally established in 1990, and then sampled for floristics annually until 1994, and subsequently in 1999, 2002, 2007, 2011 and 2014. Accompanying soil properties data was collected in 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2002 and 2014. Soil moisture probe readings were recorded from August 2013 until July 2014. Spatial data is not available for T5Q5, T5Q6 and T6Q7.

Project funding: Between 2012 and 2018 this project was part of, and funded through the Long Term Ecological Research Network (LTERN) a facility within the Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network (TERN) and supported by the Australian Government through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy.
