Regulatory role of Gnao1 in neuronal differentitation

Pathogenic variations in GNAO1 are associated with developmental and epileptic encephalopathy (DEE). To understand molecular mechanisms underlying GNAO1-associated DEE, we performed a transcriptomic analysis (RNA sequencing) on Neuro2a cells after siRNA-mediated silencing of Gnao1. Overall design: Comparative analysis of Neuro2a cell lines treated with siRNA to Gnao1 (n = 3) and those with control siRNA (n = 3). Bulk-prepared RNA was used for RNA sequencing. Both RSEM and rMATS algorithms were used.
