Analysis of microbial succession of historic silk decorations to implement more sustainable preventive conservation strategies

Amplicon based metagenomic data taken from historic velvets located in Museum of King Jan III's Palace at Wilanow. Experiments were conducted to elucidate the sophisticated processes of colonization of new museum objects, implementation of defined preventive procedures as well as relation between new and old objects in terms of microbial succession.
