Bathymetry data was collected with a hull-mounted Reson SeaBat 7160 sonar during M/V Alucia 2015 cruise AL150801 (chief scientist Adam Soule). Navigation was from ship-mounted GPS. The raw bathymetry data was collected in Reson s7k binary format. Minimal cleaning of data was done so the resultant grids may contain spikes. The bathymetry values were corrected for tides and for water column velocity. The grids are in GMT-compatible netCDF format. The data set was generated as part of the project called Rise and Fall of Galapagos Seamounts. Funding was provided through the Dalio Family Foundation and through NSF award OCE16-34685.
