Research Data Supporting "Fast and Accurate DNN-Based Approach in Maximizing Ultra-Wideband Fiber-Optic Systems Throughput"

This dataset (one excel file with one sheet) contains all the necessary data used to produce the Figure 2 in our manuscript. It contains the evaluation of 3 approaches mentioned in the manuscript on the mean SNR per channel of the validation dataset for Figure 2 (a); training and validation curve of the proposed DNN for the inset figure in Figure 2 (a); MAE of the mean SNR with respect to the labelled dataset for Figure 2 (b); flat and optimised launch power profiles for Figure 2 (c); and the achieved throughput and computational time of 3 approaches for Figure 2 (d) and (e).
