Data for "Evaluating acidotropic dyes for detecting mixotrophy in protists: Insights from cultures and field communities"

For more information on how to use this data, see our preprint and GitHub This database includes photos taken on an Attune CytPix imaging flow cytometer. The images were from events that had high red fluorescence and FSC. It compares organisms from the North East US Shelf (NES) and the California Current System (CCS). Additionally, fcs file examples for all cultures stained with acidotropic dyes in this study are included.
