This dataset includes lake and river features located in Xinjiang, which was produced using the Albers equal-area conic projection. Lake and river features were classified and extracted from 2000 TM remote sensing imagery with the assistance of ENVI and eCognition software, thus generating the Xinjiang lake and river distribution dataset. Detailed attribute information of the dataset is provided in the accompanying data documentation.
