Occurrence data of bee flies housed within the Natural History collection, Invertebrate Zoology Section, National Museums of Kenya

Occurrence data of bee flies specimens at the natural history collection of the National museums of Kenya is presented. It comprises of both historical and current data. The taxonomic information is not up-to-date as the collection was not checked by an expert of the African species prior to publishing. Data was mined from the specimen labels into excel spreadsheets as provided by GBIF, georeferenced using Geolocate and validated using GBIF Data Validator.
