CEMEX, Environment and Energy, LCA results

Pilot site: CEMEX, ES Quarry process: Environment and Energy (KTA6) Sub-process: Environment and Energy Data provider: Chalmers, Roctim, AKKODIS Data source expert system: PlantSmith, CDMP Dataset description: An example of LCA results shared with the IQS by PlantSmith expert system. The results give quantitative estimates for environmental impact based on the results of the Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) and Life Cycle Impact Assessment (LCIA). The characterization model in line with EN 15804:2019 has been used. The results for the 32 compulsory impact categories for the program operator, EPD International, are given for each pilot site for modules A1-A3 in section 4.2.1, module C in section 4.2.2, and module D in section 4.2.3. The results are displayed for the average of all products produced in 2019 for the declared unit of one ton of aggregate product.
