Raw experimental data for "Auditory cortex neurons that encode negative prediction errors respond to omissions of sounds in a predictable sequence"

Raw single-unit recording data from rat auditory cortex during an omission paradigm. Dataset includes 18 recording sessions with neuronal responses to tone sequences with varying omission probabilities (0%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 75%, 85%, 90%, 95%). Files included:- tables.mat: Dataset metadata and session information- res[ID].mat: Raw neuronal response data for each session- bl[ID].mat: Baseline activity data for each session This dataset accompanies the analysis code and reproduces results in Yaron et al. (2025) PLOS Biology. Recording details: Neuropixels extracellular recordings from primary auditory cortex (A1), ventral auditory field (VAF), and anterior auditory field (AAF) in anesthetized rats during presentation of probabilistic oddball tone sequences with omissions.
